So disappointed to see a For Rent sign on the door yesterday. After months of waiting for the renovations to be completed, we were so happy to be able to order your standard American cheeseburger deluxe and have it cooked perfectly to order, and pop in for the traditional yummy diner breakfast. We will miss Marie and the family. I hope all is well with them. The closing was very sudden after just recently reopening a few months ago. Another neighborhood staple gone from Astoria.

New favorite breakfast joint in Astoria. Very warm and friendly greeting from the staff. Instant at home feel. The place is simple but immaculate and spotlessly clean. Not a cup or glass out of place at the counter. Breakfast options are solid. Pancake instead of toast? Sure thing. We tried the eggs with hash and sausages, delicious! Fresh coffee with frequent refills. There are many popular and trendier places down the street. But this place is the hidden gem. Will be back soon!

They have a nice Greek woman who works behind the counter with long dark hair and handles the phone orders. She is the nicest sweetest most hospitable person. She is always right there to bring more coffee more water and talk to you. I actually forgot her name but she is the best. All they need is her and she should be running that whole place. They have great food and they're not insanely overpriced like Michaels diner on Broadway.

Welcome back Mini Star! After many many months of renovations, they are back in action! We came here on Saturday night and were so grateful to see everyone back. Once again the food was amazing and the service was great! Definitely our go to spot for weekend breakfast and dinners. The cheeseburger and chicken svoulaki were flavorful and the fries were hot and crispy! We will definitely stop by this weekend for breakfast. Once again, welcome back Mini Star! Boy, we have missed you.

this place is so cute!! The two workers who were serving me (the owners I assume) were so kind and helpful. Food came out super fast and was very tasty. Would definitely visit again for the lovely staff if I was in the area :)

LOVE this diner! An Astoria staple. Best burgers & unbeatable, classic prices! The staff is very friendly and they follow all covid protocols. Love the feel of this diner and is always a treat when we visit. 10/10

Came here with a friend on weekday morning for breakfast. What a great deal. With only $5.25, you can get eggs, roasts, coffee, tea, home fries. And the food there is very good. I asked for fries instead of home fries. Yay! The waitress are very attentive and friendly. My friend said this place has been there for over 20 years. I'll definitely come back again for the yummy food and great service :)
